Day 1 Gorakhpur - Lumbani - Pokhara
Meeting Point: Our exploration commences near AFC Manas
Hotel Centre Railway Station in Gorakhpur, Uttar
Pradesh, India, with a visit to the revered Gorakhnath
Temple situated within Gorakhpur. This city's identity
is deeply linked to Shri Gorakhnath Ji, a significant
saint of the Nath tradition. Following our time at the
temple, we will embark on a 98-kilometer drive towards
Sonauli. From Sonauli, our journey will take us to the
historically significant site of Lumbini, the birthplace
of Lord Buddha. After experiencing Lumbini, we will
continue our onward travel to Pokhara.
Day 2 Pokhara Local Sightseeing
Following a tasty breakfast in Pokhara, get ready for a
day of exploring its scenic and cultural highlights.
Your sightseeing will begin at the expansive Phewa Lake,
the largest in the area, famous for its stunning
mirrored reflections of the nearby snow-capped peaks.
Discover the sacred Talbarahi Temple, a Hindu shrine
peacefully situated on an island within the lake. Next,
you'll visit Bindhyabasini Temple, recognized as the
oldest temple in the city of Pokhara. Take in the
picturesque view of the Seti River as it flows through
the landscape. Then, witness the unique Devis Fall,
where the waters of the Pardi Khola Stream dramatically
disappear beneath the earth. Your tour will conclude
with a visit to the Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave Temple,
conveniently located near Devis Falls in Pokhara. Enjoy
a restful night at your hotel here in Pokhara.
Day 3 Pokhara - Manokamna - Kathmandu
Today's travels take us from Pokhara towards the revered
Manakamana Devi Temple for a visit. Following our time
at this sacred site, we will proceed with a
105-kilometer drive to Kathmandu. Upon our arrival in
the capital city, we will check in to our hotel for the
night.
Day 4 Kathmandu Local Sightseeing
After a tasty breakfast, prepare for an engaging day of
exploring Kathmandu's cultural and spiritual treasures.
Your sightseeing will commence at the Pashupatinath
Temple, a significant Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord
Pashupati. Following this, you'll discover the revered
Guhjeshwari Temple, another important holy site within
Kathmandu. Next on the itinerary is Buddhanath Stupa,
recognized as one of Nepal's largest spherical stupas.
Your journey continues to Buddhanilkanth, also known as
the Sleeping Vishnu, located in the Kathmandu district
of Bagmati province. A must-see landmark is
Swayambhunath Stupa, a prominent attraction situated in
the city's heart. Your day will conclude with a
comfortable overnight stay at your hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 5 Kathmandu - Janakpur Dham
We begin our journey from Kathmandu to Janakpur, the
birthplace of Goddess Sita, after staying overnight in a
hotel.
Day 6 Janakpur - Chitwan National Park
We start our journey from Janakpur to Chitwan. In the
evening, we will enjoy a local Tharu cultural dance
program, followed by a night stay in a hotel.
Day 7 Chitwan - Gorakhpur
As the sun rises, we'll begin our day with an exciting
wildlife expedition in Chitwan National Park, venturing
into the jungle via both jeep and elephant safaris for a
diverse viewing experience. After our safari and return
to the hotel, we will commence our 255-kilometer journey
from Chitwan back to Gorakhpur. En route, we will make a
meaningful stop at Shashwat Dham before arriving in
Gorakhpur. Finally, we will provide a convenient
drop-off near the railway station or airport, ensuring
you depart with cherished memories of your Nepal
adventure.
