Day 1 Gorakhpur to Chitwan
Meeting Point: Following our meeting near AFC Manas
Hotel Centre Railway Station in Gorakhpur, Uttar
Pradesh, India, our exploration will commence with a
visit to the significant Gorakhnath Temple situated
within Gorakhpur. This city's identity is deeply linked
to Shri Gorakhnath Ji, a revered saint of the Nath
tradition. After our time at the temple, we will embark
on a 98-kilometer drive towards Sonauli. From there, our
journey will continue to Chitwan. In Chitwan, we will
immerse ourselves in a vibrant Tharu cultural dance
performance before settling in for an overnight stay at
a local hotel.
Day 2 Chitwan - Manokamna - Kathmandu
As the day breaks in Chitwan, we'll set out for an early
morning adventure, exploring the national park's wonders
through both a thrilling jeep safari and a unique
elephant safari. These excursions offer distinct
perspectives on the diverse wildlife and natural beauty
of the area. Following our safari experience and a
return to the hotel, our journey will take a spiritual
turn as we proceed towards the revered Manakamana Devi
Temple. This temple, dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati – an
incarnation of Devi Parvati – is a significant
pilgrimage site where devotees offer prayers and seek
fulfillment of their wishes. After our darshan at
Manakamana Devi Temple, we will continue our drive
towards Kathmandu, where we will check into our hotel
for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 3 Kathmandu Local Sightseeing
After a tasty breakfast, prepare for an engaging day of
exploring Kathmandu's cultural and spiritual treasures.
Your sightseeing will commence at the Pashupatinath
Temple, a significant Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord
Pashupati. Following this, you'll discover the revered
Guhjeshwari Temple, another important holy site within
Kathmandu. Next on the itinerary is Buddhanath Stupa,
recognized as one of Nepal's largest spherical stupas.
Your journey continues to Buddhanilkanth, also known as
the Sleeping Vishnu, located in the Kathmandu district
of Bagmati province. A must-see landmark is
Swayambhunath Stupa, a prominent attraction situated in
the city's heart. Your day will conclude with a
comfortable overnight stay at your hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 4 Kathmandu - Chandragiri - Pokhara
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to
Chandragiri Hill. Take a cable car ride to the top of
Chandragiri Hill, where you can enjoy panoramic views of
the Kathmandu Valley and the majestic Himalayas. After
exploring the hill, continue your journey to Pokhara.
Upon arrival in Pokhara, check into your hotel and
relax. In the evening, take a leisurely stroll along
Phewa Lake and enjoy the serene ambiance. Overnight stay
in Pokhara.
Day 5 Pokhara Local Sightseeing
Following a tasty breakfast in Pokhara, get ready for a
day of exploring its scenic and cultural highlights.
Your sightseeing will begin at the expansive Phewa Lake,
the largest in the area, famous for its stunning
mirrored reflections of the nearby snow-capped peaks.
Discover the sacred Talbarahi Temple, a Hindu shrine
peacefully situated on an island within the lake. Next,
you'll visit Bindhyabasini Temple, recognized as the
oldest temple in the city of Pokhara. Take in the
picturesque view of the Seti River as it flows through
the landscape. Then, witness the unique Devis Fall,
where the waters of the Pardi Khola Stream dramatically
disappear beneath the earth. Your tour will conclude
with a visit to the Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave Temple,
conveniently located near Devis Falls in Pokhara. Enjoy
a restful night at your hotel here in Pokhara.
Day 6 Pokhara - Lumbani - Bhairahwa
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to
Bhairahwa. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and relax.
In the evening, visit the famous Lumbini Garden, a
UNESCO World Heritage Site and the birthplace of Lord
Buddha. Explore the sacred garden, visit the Maya Devi
Temple, and witness the serene ambiance of this holy
place. Return to your hotel in Bhairahwa for an
overnight stay.
Day 7 Bhairahwa - Gorakhpur
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to
Gorakhpur. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at the
Gorakhpur Railway Station or Airport, concluding your
tour.
